  • Presentation of the project’s content:
    The project’s goal is to develop a new meat product family, that contains beneficial antioxidant and antimicrobial active substances, while respecting consumers’ taste preferences. Widespread dissemination of the result of the development is not only an oppurtinity, according to the latest scientific reasearches, in order to achieve positive effects, it is important to boost physical activity, which requires a change in the wide range of society’s way of thinking about nutrition and lifestyle. Resveratrol or coriander, oregano, thyme contain herbal essential oils, thus there is no meat on the market with antibacterial and antioxidant effects. The new meat product will be created without any production technology development in the current plant of Gulyás János és Társa Kft., however it can be materialized with an expanded biochemical laboratory. The study of active substances, the efficiency of finished meat products, antibacterial and antitoxic effects will be verified by external laboratories. The utilization of the project’s results can be granted by the project owner’s 70% market share on public catering market on the one hand, and the wide-ranging and awareness-raising campaigns related to the project’s results on the other hand. For its success, it is important that there is no such producer, or distributor in Hungary, who creates meat family with similar complex herbal extracts, increased antioxidant effects and reduced preservative contents.
